“Our Roots: Two Women with Brushes”, an exhibition of landscape paintings by Doreen Wood and Marg Cunningham. Art on Main. 171 Main Street West. North Bay. The exhibition runs from June 25th to July 28th. Our hours are Monday-Saturday 9:30am-4:30pm.

Mattawa Women’s Resource Centre

June 8th is our Veggie Floral Basket Creations workshop and June 22nd is the Mandalla Bead bracelets workshop held at the Mattawa Women’s Resource Centre located at 385 Pine St. Mattawa from 1pm - 3pm. Our workshops are open to women 16 years and up. There is no cost, a tasty snack is provided and laughter is guaranteed!

Fourth Annual Cycle for Autism

Autism Ontario North Bay and Area Chapter is pleased to be holding our Fourth Annual Cycle for Autism on Saturday, June 5 th at Lee Park in North Bay. Families are invited to walk, roll and cycle and enjoy a fun-filled afternoon of activities to raise awareness and funds for families in our area living with Autism Spectrum Disorder. The registration, activities and barbecue begin at noon and the cycle begins at 1 pm.

Phelps Rec Centre

Bottle Drive Fundraiser in Redbridge.
The Phelps Rec Centre will be open and collecting beer & liquor empties on May 8th from 8am to 3pm or to have your empties picked up, please call Brenna Aultman at 663-2867 by May 7th. Every household participating, will be entered in a draw to win a FREE BBQ, propane tank & much more.
There will also be a Bacon & Egg Breakfast from 8am to 11am ($5/adult) & BBQ lunch from noon to 3pm.

Community Yard Sale.
All members of the community are welcome to bring their yard sale items to the Rec Centre on May 8th from 8am—3pm for a community sale. A donation of $10 for use of a table is requested. Please contact Brenna Aultman at 663-2867 for more details and to rent your table.

Come and talk to the experts! Check out North Bay’s latest and greatest products, services and resource information for new and expecting parents. Sunday, February 7th from 11am - 4pm at the Clarion Resort Pinewood Park. 

Admission is FREE  

We will gladly accept donations of non-perishable food items that will be donated to the North Bay Food Bank after the event.  We hope you can join us!

5th Annual Bath Tub Project. February 8th-12th. This is a week long drive where students, faculty and staff collect donations of personal/hygienic products to be delivered to:
True Self, Nipissing Transition House, Sturgeon Falls Family Resource Centre, Amelia Rising, Mattawa Women’s Resource Centre, Ojibway Family Resource Centre, North Bay Crisis Centre, North Bay Food Bank, North Bay Indian Friendship Centre, The Gathering Place and the AIDS Committee of North Bay and Area.
